Those other boy bands! pt.7 : Da-iCE

Hello there!!!^^

I know it's been awhile since I post on this topic about other boy bands (other than the Johnnys~)
So I'm sorry for that.
To be honest I was afraid of running out of boy bands to introduce or to get more recognition...but yeah, I don't think so...
Recently I came across Da-iCE as they are announcing their major debut with their debut single released next year. (on Tokyohive)
So they happen to be the boy band I want to talk about right now.

I bet you know them already, but I just knew about them a few days ago and was reluctant to feature them in 'Those other boy bands' post...
because they are not new and yes a number of people already know about them...
However,how they end up here is due to their awesome song,voices and dance!
Which are something that must be given more recognition of.

Basically, I don't know much about them other than they follow the vocal and dance group concept
You know the some will sing and the rest will dance concept...

Actually I'm getting tired with this concept, it was okay when some did it but now most of the boy bands are doing so...
But Da-iCE is a group you should listen too because I've been listening to their 'I'll be back' song all night!
And I fell for Sota's voice ^_____^

Well you can find more of their videos on Youtube really~ plus Sota and Udai ever did a collaboration with Vimclip (if you haven't heard of Vimclip go here, I did a post on them before~^^)

So,overall I really like Da-iCE and I am so impress of their talents!
I love their dance and voices,very different from what I have heard from J-boybands before
And their songs are not bad too~^^
The fact that I fell for their songs instantly make me look forward to them, espcially now that they are debuting~
So let's all support Da-iCE!!^^
But just wish that they are more boy bands that do not follow the vocal/dance concept~ -_____-

Those other boy bands! pt.6 : PrizmaX

Hayyyyy~~~^^

As you can see I've been idol hunting again...
and this time it's PrizmaX

Maybe most of you have heard of them before...
this is because the group was formed back in 2002!!! ( walao eh~!)
But honestly I've never heard of them!...
...just knew them today~^^
and how so glad and grateful I am to have found/stumbled/bumped upon them!
 
So for those who do not know them...feel free to scroll down and read upon my findings after this expedition...heheh^^

Though was formed like 10 years ago
They've just released a single last March entitled 'Mysterious Eyes/ GO!' (to download go here^^)
PrizmaX is a boyband under the same agency as 'BULLET TRAIN' and 'DISH//' too!!!^^
unfortunately I do not know about their history...so I'm just going to share infos which I know.

But before moving on to that let's get to know the members^^

Of course at first the member which caught my eyes was Shimizu Daiki...because of the name*^^*
But all of them are cute and funny! (as observed from their PV)
Anyway I know you are wondering why the guy in pink is named 'Tim' then that smiley lad is named 'Win' and on top of that, though not shown here, their names are spelled in Katakana~~~
Kurokawa is American and Morisaki is Burmese~^^

Just so you actually skipped to the bottom to watch their PV first than reading this...I think you could've guessed that the two lads are half-Japanese~^^
If you didn't watch the PV first and take your time to read this,which I so thank you very wholly much~,prepare to be amazed by their song!!!^^

So here ya go~^^

From the Youtube comments, they kinda compared them to One Direction...
firstly of course because of the guitar intro and then the PV where they just randomly do anything...with little dances...
But since I am Jpop bias...I will not compare them to anyone^^

I was surprise that the song started off with English and pronounced so perfect too!
But it was the song and the funniness of the PV made me repeat and watch it over and over again!!!
I would admit, 'GO!' deserves a better PV though...
...but I still love it^^

Anyway, since PrizmaX is a group formed so long ago, there are other videos of their performances (not PV unfortunately) found on Youtube. Quite a lot so I won't post them here....sorry...

My Comment:
I don't know where PrizmaX stand internationally as in known worldwide by Jpop lovers because I haven't heard any of the people I know mentioning them..
....or maybe it's just me dwelling in the Wonderful World of Johnnys till so far away from other Jpop bands...-_______-
But what I am really sure PrizmaX is very promising!
I can't quite comment on them yet for their PV and song is so familiar...
Still I look forward to them!^^

Those other boy bands! pt.5 : DISH//

Hello minna!^^

Today's boyband is...DISH//
Yes, another boy band post~~ what can I say? I love idol-hunting~^^
Anyway...
This is actually a coincidence!^^ (oh not to mention the random band names of them~~~=_=")

When I stumbled upon 'BULLET TRAIN' boyband previously I also came across DISH//~~^^
Since both are from Stardust!
And...
Today I found out that DISH// is making their major debut this June!...and I thought they've already debuted~~ (Tokyohive)
Well they did debut before this but...not as big I guess? (like my friend said 'Minor debut')

DISH// is a 4-member boyband who plays instruments and sing!...I mean all of them sing!!^^
They are really young,ranging from the age of 1995-1998!

Yes, I'm officially calling them my lil brothers from another agency~^^

So far I've only listened and watched one of their PV; 'Peter Pan Syndrome', which is a fun video and catchy song too!^^

My comment:
DISH// seems like a very promising band, they have this fun and kawaii image of them that just screams...FUN!!
So I'm guessing that their songs and PVs will also be fun like them!^^
Let's wait for their major debut then minna!^^

Those other boy bands! pt.4 : BULLET TRAIN (超特急)

Hello minna!^^

Well from the title...it kinda doesn't make sense ne?
I mean a boyband? but then a bullet train? what? 0,o

Actually the name of the boyband is 'BULLET TRAIN' or  超特急 (Chō tokkyū)
Consists of 7 members from Stardust...
and they just debuted last year!^^
For those who don't know them...I'll introduce^^

Well I just knew about them today...let just say I went idol hunting and stumbled upon them~^^

BULLET TRAIN (lets just stick to this name~) has a concept the same as GENERATION.
You know the only-some-will-sing-and-the-rest-will-dance kinda concept...
Bullet Train is likewise because it only has 2 vocals and 5 dancers~

The members,however, are much younger^^
Ranging from 1994-1996....=_="...but ii-yo!^^ They're so cute!^^ (and I'm pretty sure if you're a JE fan you could accept younger idols easily...like I have~)

I think my favourite is Kai and Takuya~^^
But mite,look at Yusuke...he actually reminds me of Gongchan from B1A4 (maybe it's the pic~)

Well,to be honest Bullet Train hasn't got their own style yet...
I mean their PVs or songs seem like you've heard and seen them from somewhere before.
But they look promising!^^
They have cool dance moves and great singing voice too!^^
Plus! THEY ARE PRETTY BOYS!...no fangirl could refuse princes like them~^^

I haven't got any more news regarding them...beside I just found out about them today anyway...
I am just happy that I know them!^^

'GENERATIONS'!!!!!

Well, I'm pretty sure for those of you who are EXILE fans and other groups from LDH company/agency (seriously, it sounds very scientific~~~)
...you must know GENERATIONS...right?
..if you don't well we're on the same page then~~~ =_='

I just knew about them yesterday, browsing through some late news and found out that this new group is going to debut!!! yay!!!!^^

Those other boy bands! pt.2 : Vimclip

Hey minna! I'm back!
Sorry for not being here for awhile...well it's exam week so I have to refrain myself from going on the internet (IT WAS TORTURE!!! >,<)

So now that I'm back and yes with this topic like the previous one..
..though this time is not about missing boy bands and such..
actually this is not meant to have a part 2 topic but since...
..my absence has led me to these two boybands
One being new to me ..
..and the other is known but I'm not so very into them~~

Let's start with this boy band called 'Vimclip'
Here are their members~^^

Reo is kinda kawaii~~~^^ an awesome dancer too
They are going to release a new mini debut album this 18th July!^^
which is a catchy song!!^^

Here is a short preview to the song 'BA+BA+BYE"~~ (release 4th July)

 

Seriously, I look forward to them^^
And I'm quite surprise I never heard of them before!!!!! >,<

Next is LEAD!!!
I know them but I think I've listened to them like twice only
But now that they are going to release a new album (click here for further info)
...it led me to "Stand and Fight" PV
THEIR DANCE IS FLAWLESS!!!!

The song is quite nice too!^^

Well speaking of PV....
KAT-TUN's 'TO THE LIMIT' PV IS AWESOME!!!!!!

Oh..and I wish there are ging to be something new for D☆DATE soon...

Those other boy bands!

Of course most famous Boy bands in Japan come from JE or Johnny Jimusho~ (or something like that...I'm stuck in this fandom~)

none other than the HSJ to be the header of this post~

but...I do know some other Boy bands that I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM!!..
okay,okay..it's only one group called "SIGN"...

They released a single called...well "SIGN" so when the PV was out it had SIGN SIGN...(I know it's confusing not to mention the difficulty to search them on google!)
SIGN is under Amuse if I'm not mistaken.

I know one of the member's name,it's Takuya something something~ I once had his blog..
